As our business expands, our Shipping department is looking to recruit a full-time Ship Operations Coordinator.

The main responsibilities would include the following:
– Handling of various logistics / documentation needed for organising a ship’s arrival, berthing, discharge / loading and departure.
– Coordination of operations with various principals and service providers will be essential.
– Assisting the Operations team as required, with the possibility of attending to vessels calling at Malta ports / shipyards in the future.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be a team player, have good level of education as a minimum (at least MQF4 or equivalent), fluent in spoken English and Maltese, hold a driving license and computer literate.
Previous experience and / or knowledge of Shipping / Logistics would be considered an asset but not essential – training will be provided accordingly.
Salary is negotiable in line with experience.
