The Role

  • Carrying out accounting entries and postings
  • Verify and handle invoices, payments, and other financial entries for both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring precision and integrity of financial data
  • Carrying out bank/debtors/creditors and other accounting reconciliations
  • Maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to ensure controls and efficiencies
  • Liasing with internal departments as well as suppliers
  • Carrying out any other related duties as may be required
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Hold a professional qualification / part qualification in accounting;
  • Knowledge of Shireburn SFM would be considered an asset;
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Excel;
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within stipulated time frames;
  • Positive can-do attitude;
  • Fluency in English and Maltese;
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with the team and internal departments;
  • Good written communications skills.
