The Gollcher Group is at the forefront of the Ship Agency, Maritime and Logistics industry in Malta. As a leading marine surveying organisation we are regularly requested by international and local clients to carry out cargo surveys on their behalf.

We are looking for a candidate to join our Marine Surveying Department. Training will involve both on the job guidance and professional structured courses.

The Role:
  • Attending to survey of cargoes onboard vessels, in port areas as well as in land warehouses.
  • Following up with writing of a survey report and the collation of various shipping and insurance related documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Fluency in both English and Maltese;
  • Good educational background;
  • Prior experience working with shipping / freight forwarding / insurance companies or sea going career would be considered an asset;
  • As the role involves claim discussions and negotiation, applicants should have good communication skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with the team.
